Job Overview

The Field Service Technician role is focused on delivering exceptional customer service while performing routine maintenance and repair activities on engines and related components at customer sites with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs.
  • Utilize specialized tools and adhere to documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing necessary parts and tools.
  • Elevate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors. Perform routine maintenance tasks according to established schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims via written forms or business system input screens.
  • Maintain service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as an apprentice-trained engine technician (desired).
  • Vocational diploma from a reputable technical institution.
  • Locally valid driver's permit.
Desired Experience:
  • Minimum level of workshop-related experience required.
  • Familiarity with engine products (basic knowledge).
