UI/UX Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design of a consumer-facing mobile app and a platform for healthcare professionals and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing user-friendly, scalable solutions that meet the unique needs of the aged care market.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design intuitive interfaces that cater to the diverse needs of older adults, incorporating accessibility and usability principles.
  2. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and clinical teams using Figma as the primary design tool.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to understand user groups, especially older adults.
  4. Establish a design system and workflows for seamless feedback and approvals.
  5. Contribute to marketing design as needed.
  • Requirements:
  1. At least 5 years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in health or medical tech products.
  2. 2+ years of startup experience with independent work management.
  3. Experience designing for older adults (ages 65 to 80) with a strong focus on accessibility.
  4. Proficiency in Figma and a collaborative approach.
  5. Strong design research skills and the ability to uncover user needs without constant direction.

About the Opportunity

You will be hired directly by the client, typically as an independent contractor, and will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the aged care industry.
