Structural Detailer Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and experience with Revit software.

Job Description

The Structural Detailer will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and models of structural systems. This includes producing structural drawings and Revit models that meet quality standards, as well as ensuring construction documents are accurately modeled.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete. They will also be responsible for communicating effectively with clients and coordinating with external teams.

In addition to their technical skills, the Structural Detailer must possess strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills. They should be able to function independently in an autonomous environment and be self-directed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Structural Design
  • 3+ years of full-time work experience in structural design
  • Experience in mid-sized structural projects ($5M - $50M)
  • 3+ years Revit Experience
  • Working knowledge Tekla, and SDS/2, and/or StrucSoft highly preferred
  • Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills

The Structural Detailer will be required to participate in continuous improvement activities, including seeking out and participating in continuing education and collaborating with other disciplines' design changes and model challenges.

They will also be expected to understand client value map and deliver projects to meet client expectations.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
