Opportunities Ahead

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, using technologies such as React and Gatsby while consuming content from aheadless Drupal instance using pipelines and environments such as Pantheon, AWS, and GCP.

You will have the opportunity to work directly in Drupal, and experience in this area is a big plus -as well as being able to take on stretch assignments to help you reach your professional development goals.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing front-end using React and Gatsby or another React framework (e.g., Next.js)
  • Write readable, maintainable code for a client with minimal technical oversight
  • Manage facets of the project as applicable like Quality, Performance, and Security
  • Be a contributing part of a project team by assuming responsibility for the architecture and development of complex components
  • Collaborating directly with stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Communicate with team members about task status, availability, and questions about technology
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience within the software industry
  • 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer with React
  • 2+ years of experience with Gatsby, Next, or a similar React framework
  • Familiarity with automated unit testing
  • Experience working in a distributed, agile environment planning and executing on a project using Agile methodologies
  • Confident with use of version control systems
  • Experience with cloud platforms, loosely in a DevOps capacity is a plus
  • Experience developing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines
Nice to Have
  • Professional experience with Drupal 8+, PHP, and Composer, relational databases, and working in a full-stack capacity is a big plus. Experience in project management or coordination.
