Accounts Receivable Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Expert to optimize our revenue cycles and ensure timely collections.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing accounts receivable collections processes efficiently and effectively, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Manage accounts receivable collections processes efficiently and effectively.
- Review and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and discrepancies in payment postings.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to address payment issues and resolve outstanding balances.
- Utilize Athena Health EMR system to track and manage accounts receivable activities.
- Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
- Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Revenue Cycle Expert or similar role in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in using Athena Health EMR system is required.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets.
