Senior Technical Executive for VoIP Platforms

A high-level technical leader responsible for designing, building, operating, and enhancing large-scale VoIP platforms and their underlying infrastructure.

This role requires a deep understanding of SIP/RTP software/daemons/applications, VoIP platforms, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux Systems Administration, shell scripting, database configuration, and voice telecommunications services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing complex VoIP systems, including SIP and RTP protocols, software platforms, and network architectures.
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts using shell languages.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting databases such as BigCouch/CouchDB and MySQL.
  • Engineering and operating voice telecommunications services based on Kazoo, FreeSWITCH, RabbitMQ, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, and other technologies.
  • Managing development, lab, pre-production, and production Linux servers, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in senior-level Linux Systems Administration across multiple core Linux distributions.
  • Expertise in SIP/RTP software/daemons/applications, VoIP platforms, and related technologies.
  • Understanding of the LAMP software stack, Docker containers, and clustered bare-metal hypervisor platforms.
  • Experience working with virtualization technologies such as KVM, Hyper-V, VMware, AWS, and Rackspace cloud VMs.
