Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled professional who can support and conduct strategic negotiation events for our Strategic Sourcing group. As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will build and create relationships with internal clients to understand their contracting needs, negotiate business terms with vendors and partners, and establish relationships and lead Stakeholders / cross-functional teams to get process buy-in.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support and conduct strategic negotiation events for the Strategic Sourcing group
  • Built and maintain relationships with internal clients to understand their contracting needs
  • Negotiate business terms with vendors and partners
  • Liaise with the Legal and Security departments to ensure all contract controls and protections are in place
  • Establish relationships and lead Stakeholders / cross-functional teams to get process buy-in
  • Create Strategic Sourcing partnerships to increase addressable spend
  • Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution
  • Use and evaluate eSourcing tools and new technologies

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar position: Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing
  • Proficiency in MS Office package, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people
  • BS Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
