Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team at Miescor Builders Incorporated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Proficiently read and understand architectural, electrical, and mechanical layouts and diagrams to produce accurate drawings.
  • Prepare As-Built Plans: Develop detailed as-built plan drawings that meet client specifications.
  • Shop Drawings and Revisions: Prepare shop drawings and revise them as needed to support project development.
  • Site Survey Assistance: Assist with site surveys from time to time to ensure project accuracy.
  • Design and Development: Develop layouts and drawings for various projects.
  • Drawing Maintenance: Maintain and update electronic drawings and documents to ensure consistency.
  • Utility Standards: Develop utility standards and work methodologies to improve efficiency.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with engineering standards and adhere to company policies, employee code of ethics, and corporate governance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Protect intellectual property, company proprietary information, and confidential data.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding architectural, electrical, and mechanical layouts and diagrams.
  • Able to prepare accurate as-built plan drawings and shop drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with drafting software and tools.
