Senior Accounting Specialist

As a critical member of our rapidly growing eCommerce organization, the Senior Accounting Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing essential monthly P&L statements, and providing strategic financial analysis to drive business decisions.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and detailed financial records across all accounts (AP, AR, payroll, inventory, amortizations, etc.)
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure clean books and identify errors or inconsistencies
- Prepare comprehensive monthly P&L statements and key financial reports for management review
- Deliver timely and insightful monthly financial analysis highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or growth
- Record daily sales transactions from multiple eCommerce platforms and manage account reconciliations
- Process and manage accounts payable, including vendor payments and expense tracking
- Handle monthly inventory valuation and COGS recognition, including physical counts and reconciliations
- Support forecasting activities, budget preparation, and special projects as needed
- Partner with leadership to deliver clear financial reporting and recommend process improvements
- Ensure month-end closing procedures are completed accurately and efficiently
