Job Overview

We are seeking researchers and academics to provide expert evaluations of manuscripts for academic journals and publishers.

Note: You must be able to disclose your full name and affiliations with the publishers.

Key Qualifications
  • Hold a Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Possess at least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • Have a thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the discipline.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Show strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Be able to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Commit to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Prior experience as an evaluator or reviewer is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Novelty: Assess whether the manuscript adds new knowledge or insights to the field of study.
  • Examine Study Design and Methodology: Evaluate whether the study design and methods are appropriate, comprehensive, and clearly described.
  • Review Literature: Check whether the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant research in the field.
  • Analyze Results and Conclusions: Evaluate whether the results are presented clearly and appropriately.
  • Provide Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend Publication: Based on your evaluation, the journal editor will decide whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
