Database Systems Engineer

About the Role:\

We are looking for a skilled engineer who can monitor and optimize MariaDB clusters and MaxScale load balancers. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in MariaDB clustering and replication, as well as hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure administration.

  • Monitor and optimize database systems for high availability and performance.\
  • Administer Ubuntu Linux servers on Azure VMs, including patching, tuning, and automation.\
  • Manage and optimize Azure resources, including Traffic Manager, load balancers, and networking.\\
    Requirements:\
    • \
    • 3+ years of experience as a MySQL or Maria DBA (cloud or hybrid).\
    • Strong skills in MariaDB clustering and replication preferred but not required.\
    • Hands-on Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure administration experience.\
    • Performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery know-how.\\
