This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to streamline financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis
  2. Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
  3. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Accounts Payable and Expense Management

  1. Review and approve purchase requests and change orders.
  2. Oversee the review and posting of transactions before payment processing.

Accounts Receivable and Revenue Management

  1. Monitor billing and collections to ensure timely payments.
  2. Implement credit and collection policies to manage outstanding balances.

Cost Control and Budget Monitoring

  1. Track and analyze project budgets and contracts to manage costs effectively.
  2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

Compliance and Reconciliation

  1. Ensure all financial transactions are accurate and complete.
  2. Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 3 years of experience and/or exposure in the construction industry is preferred.
  • 5 years and above of progressive experience in financial management, reporting, cost analysis, and process improvement.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel functions, with experience in ERP or cloud-based accounting software such as Quickbooks and Odoo.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proven ability to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve cost efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities, with experience in guiding teams and collaborating across departments.
  • High level of accountability, decision-making skills, and attention to detail in financial operations.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to support executive decision-making and drive financial performance.
