Job Title: Paraplanning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our financial planning team as a Paraplanning Specialist.

About the Role

This is a remote role that involves supporting senior financial planners by providing research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing comprehensive SOAs and ROAs in line with compliance requirements.
  • Conducting product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assisting in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilizing financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Working closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensuring all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and liaising with advisers to refine financial strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
