About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Information Risk Manager to lead our information security efforts at AltPayNet Corp.

  1. Key responsibilities include assisting in gaining and maintaining the security standards accreditation and certification, identifying vulnerabilities in the network, developing and implementing a comprehensive security plan, monitoring network usage, and keeping up to date with IT security standards and threats.
  2. Additionally, this role involves performing penetration tests, collaborating with management and the IT department, documenting security breaches, educating colleagues on security software and best practices, and developing and administering system and information ownership guidelines.
  3. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing compliance to security standards, conducting the information security risk assessment program, managing the SOC, providing vision and strategy for the team, hiring security personnel, managing career development, developing alert handling procedures, developing incident response plans, analyzing and optimizing workflows, communicating security needs, and budgeting and forecasting for security spend.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field
  • Professional information security certifications
  • Good background and experience in an information security role (5 years and above)
  • Solid knowledge of various information security frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
