Job Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Developer to design, document, develop, test, and deploy complex, scalable, and highly available applications.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and architects to understand business requirements and prepare reference for users by writing operating instructions.
  • Maintaining historical records by documenting program development and revisions is also a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • The role requires maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and coding and testing programming for in-house software programs.
  • The Technical Systems Developer will conduct end-user training upon completion of software and develop systems in an in-house production environment.
  • Reporting issues and concerns immediately to the Development Head and troubleshooting systems bugs and issues are essential responsibilities.
  • The candidate will test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary.
  • Ensuring direct communication over email, chats, and ticketing chain to ensure timely resolution of identified issues is crucial.
  • Taking accountability and ownership of assigned tasks to meet commitments to clients on time and of quality is a key aspect of the role.
  • The Technical Systems Developer will adhere to the organization's administrative policies.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related course in Computer Information Systems is required.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in systems analysis and programming, system design, and system testing especially in a financial environment is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should be a highly skilled professional with excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of facilitating workgroups and design teams.
  • Proficient in independently analyzing extensive data to identify discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and develop efficient testing solutions tailored to customer needs is essential.
  • Demonstrating keen attention to detail, initiative, sound judgment, and adaptability to changing priorities is crucial.
  • The successful candidate should be effective in managing multiple projects, working autonomously, and collaborating within a team.
