IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure specialist to join our team. As an IT infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of computer systems and networks.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our development teams to design and implement scalable and secure solutions that meet our business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing computer systems and networks
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of data and systems
  • Managing and maintaining system performance and availability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration
  • Proficiency in Linux OS flavors including Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8, and Ubuntu
  • Microsoft Windows proficiency at administration level, including knowledge of latest releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl
  • Networking knowledge including Fortigate firewall setup and basic WiFi knowledge

Desirable skills and qualifications include:

  • RHCE certification
  • Experience with remote or on-site server work
  • VOIP knowledge (SIP signaling, RTP; firewall considerations)
  • Virtualization and cloud experience with QEMU, Docker, AWS, GCP
