TMDPH Inc. is seeking a Medical Documentation Specialist to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical information, maintaining electronic medical records (EMRs), and ensuring smooth communication between healthcare providers.

You will work closely with healthcare professionals to capture and document patient encounters in real-time, enter information into the electronic health record system, and maintain the highest level of confidentiality and data security.

• Transcribe medical histories, physical examination findings, diagnostic tests, treatment plans, and other pertinent medical information.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
• Maintain electronic medical records (EMRs) with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to affix necessary documentation, including blood work requests, therapeutic injections and doses, and detailed procedures.
• Participate in training sessions to continually enhance medical knowledge and documentation skills.
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and data security guidelines, including HIPAA standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Physical Therapy.
• Board or Non-Board passers are welcome to apply.
• Strong interest in the medical field and a desire to learn and grow within a healthcare setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture information accurately in real-time.
• Aware of the charting process, particularly the SOAP method.
• Knowledgeable on anatomy and physiology
• Basic understanding of medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Proficient typing skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
