We are looking for a highly skilled Environmental Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk analysis and experience working in the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Sustainable Finance Strategy: Develop and implement RCBC's sustainable finance strategy in accordance with the Bank's Sustainable Finance Framework and BSP directives.
- Analyze Portfolio Data: Analyze data from the Bank's portfolio to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for sustainable investments.
- Provide Decision Support: Provide decision-making support on the determination of appropriate thresholds for fund-raising activities of the Treasury Group based on the Bank's sustainable portfolio.
- Administer Quantitative Risk Analysis: Administer the Bank's end-to-end application of quantitative climate risk analysis tools and ensure timely completion of results.
- Conduct Research and Advocacy: Conduct extensive research relevant to the Sustainable Finance initiatives of the Bank, such as those that pertain to compliance with relevant BSP directives, involve sustainability advocacies which the Bank may pursue or maintain, and enable the Bank to align initiatives with those of its subsidiaries or other members of the Yuchengco Group of Companies.
- Monitor Project Progress: Conduct visits to project locations of advocacies supported by the Bank to ensure adequate tracking of such project's progress.
- Collaborate on Sustainability Reporting: Collaborate with various teams in the Bank in completing RCBC's Sustainability Report.
- Manage Disclosure: Serve as the accountable officer for the maintenance and update of the Sustainable Finance disclosures in RCBC's website and accomplishment of Sustainable Finance presentation materials for use in internal and ROC meetings and external ESG events.
