Job Description

We are seeking a skilled audio editor to join our team.

  • Assist in writing show notes and social media captions that capture the essence of each episode.
  • Mix audio from various sources, ensuring seamless transitions between segments.
  • Review recordings, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance overall quality.
  • Publish polished podcasts that meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine sound quality, plan future episodes, and contribute to the growth and development of the podcast.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Familiarity with professional audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro X, Audacity, GarageBand, Descript, and Reaper.
  • Knowledge of raw audio file formats (WAV, MP3, etc.) and ability to work with them.
  • Experience in creating engaging show notes and social media content.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and content calendar management.
  • Able to adapt writing style to match the brand voice of our clients.
  • Flexibility to work part-time EST hours.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
