Job Overview

Implementation consultants support clients in implementing and configuring payment solutions, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and meeting customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with clients to understand their requirements, facilitating new program installations, conversions and maintenance requests, and demonstrating expertise in implementation from a technical or operational perspective.

Additionally, consultants must manage complex processing and change requests, support customer initiatives, partner with clients to increase performance and educate them on programs, and act as approver for other analysts on client program changes.

They also conduct internal and external opportunities, present development opportunities, and lead corporate or client initiatives using best practices and technical skills.

Furthermore, consultants assess operational opportunities to increase service quality or efficiency within the department, prepare project plans, status reports, and issues logs, and build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Finally, they represent client system and operational requirements to internal organizations, coordinate resources, report customer project accomplishments, and provide training as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of experience with an Advanced degree or 0 years of experience with a PhD
  • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree or up to 3 years of experience with a PhD
  • Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex technical issues into business solutions and articulate complex terms into business language
  • Self-starter with ability to achieve results as part of a team and prioritize tasks under deadlines
