Australian Payroll Specialist Opportunity

As a key team member, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand entities. Your duties will include resolving questions received through ticketing tools and email in a professional and courteous manner.


Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing and Compliance: Preparation, reconciliation, filing/lodgment, and payment of statutory requirements for both Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance with government regulations and laws.
  • Accuracy and Integrity: Audit of payroll records to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Taxation Expertise: Familiarization with taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors, providing expert advice on tax-related matters.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolution of payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information, applying problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Process Improvement: Support and advise on continual process improvement projects, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 3 years experience in Australian payroll processing.
  • Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment.
  • Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
