Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust data layer to support business intelligence needs. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data models within specified timelines.

Responsibilities:
  1. Data Model Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain LookML models, explores, and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.
  2. Data Optimization: Optimize LookML code to ensure performance, scalability, and efficient data processing.
  3. Complex Data Transformations: Implement complex data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using LookML.
  4. Data Consistency: Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all Looker assets.
Hiring Criteria:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in LookML, strong understanding of data visualization principles, and experience in creating user-friendly, interactive dashboards.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • BI Architecture: Solid understanding of BI data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling.
  • Performance Tuning: Experience in performance tuning and optimizing Looker assets.
