Financial Record Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accounting specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting internal and external audits.
The Role: Accounting Specialist- Prepare and record journal entries and general ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation.
- Support internal and external audits, providing timely and accurate information as required.
- Perform variance analysis and explain key fluctuations in financial data.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of accounting software, including QuickBooks and NetSuite, and develop your skills in Excel (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas).
Requirements and Skills- 1-3 years of accounting experience (internships welcome)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and accurate with numbers
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting workflows
- Proficient in Excel (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)
- Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar software
- Professional English communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage time, tasks, and deadlines in a remote setup
