Job Description

Hunter's Hub Inc. is seeking a skilled Secure Disposal Specialist to oversee the secure and compliant disposal of IT assets across all client sites.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and be able to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a project plan with clear timelines and milestones to ensure efficient execution.
  • Coordinate with teams (IT, Site Facilities, Finance, internal and Vendors) for asset inventory and disposal preparation.
  • Work with approved IT Asset Disposal vendors to ensure compliance with data security and recycling standards.
  • Ensure secure data destruction (e.g., wiping or shredding) before disposal and maintain certificates of destruction and compliance records.
  • Oversee asset collection, tagging, and transfer to disposal vendors, tracking disposal progress and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide updates on project status to stakeholders and submit final reports with disposal records and financial summaries.

Deliverables:

  • Detailed asset inventory for disposal
  • Certificates of data destruction and recycling
  • Final project report

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree holder
