Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Python and Google Cloud Platform tools.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into our data pipelines and enhance business decision-making.
  • Develop and implement data visualisation tools to communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with organisational policies and regulations.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and contribute to the growth of our team's skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields, preferably with a focus on cloud-based technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data visualisation tools.
  • Experience working with big data technologies like Apache Beam, Spark, or Hadoop.
  • Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
