Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Source and engage IT professionals for permanent roles in APAC
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria
  • Coordinate interview processes and provide timely feedback to applicants
  • Communicate market insights and salary benchmarks to stakeholders
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure a positive candidate experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL (experience with Java, C#, or C++ is a plus)
  • Ability to write clean, scalable, and performant code
  • Knowledge of Linux and command-line tools
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and event streaming (Kafka experience preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Snowflake, Kubernetes, and Airflow (desirable)
  • Familiarity with time-series market data (desirable)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of data science concepts (ML, data mining, statistics, visualization)
  • Leadership experience is a strong advantage
