About the Role

As an Architectural and Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately performing takeoffs and costing for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and can efficiently translate drawings into precise estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform takeoffs and cost estimates using Planswift or Bluebeam software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans to identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel to facilitate collaboration and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam is essential for successful project execution.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and attention to detail are required to maintain data integrity.
  • A background in architectural and electrical projects, experience in electrical lighting controls, and knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls are necessary for success in this role.
  • Strong communication skills and prior costing/estimating experience are valuable assets in this position.
