Finance Automation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Finance Automation Expert to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing and optimizing our financial systems.

This position combines technical and functional knowledge to analyze system issues, triage bugs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

You will bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring our financial processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our growth.

Responsibilities

  • Closely work with integration and automation teams to automate key financial processes and workflows.
  • Proactively interview business users to identify opportunities for automation and propose solutions that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Dive into system processes to understand, document, and propose optimizations.
  • Work with integration APIs to build and manage automated data flows between systems.
  • Research and analyze available market AI solutions to identify opportunities, and then analyze and propose solutions that can benefit the organization.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, customizing, developing, and integrating one or more Enterprise applications or SaaS software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Coupa, Concur, etc.).
  • Good functional and configuration-level understanding of one or more areas, including but not limited to ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
  • Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, and data mapping concepts.
  • Candidates must have experience in NetSuite scripting and development.
  • Experience with building web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience with integration APIs is essential for this role.
  • Proven ability to perform research and analysis on new technologies, including AI solutions.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as UiPath or RPA platforms is a bonus.
  • Experience with system integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, Celigo) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly.
  • Document complex systems, processes, events, and architectures.
  • Must be customer-centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships.
  • Must be a self-starter, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both technical and non-technical parties.
  • Can Do and Open to Learn Attitude Required.
