Data Engineering Lead for Financial Data Innovation

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to spearhead the development of our financial data infrastructure. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust systems and infrastructure for processing and analyzing large and complex datasets.

Your primary goal will be to create high-performing data pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud-based systems using tools like Apache Airflow, Snowflake, AWS, and GCP. Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance and monitoring of various data applications, pipelines, and databases.

To ensure seamless collaboration with stakeholders, you will participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to coordinate and collaborate on development efforts.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with a strong background in Python, SQL, and Linux. Proficiency in REST APIs, scalable API design, and event streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink is highly desirable.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field is required. Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading junior engineers is also essential.
