Occupational Health Manager

Developing, implementing and monitoring compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures;
Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments across the organisation;
Investigating incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions;
Providing training and support to employees on health, safety and environmental best practices;
Liaising with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on environmental and safety matters;
Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on the company's EHS performance;
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS management.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field;
3+ years' experience as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer in the manufacturing or similar industry;
Extensive knowledge of relevant environmental, health and safety legislation and regulations;
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks;
Excellent communication and training skills to engage with employees at all levels;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver EHS objectives;
Proficient in handling or transacting with government agencies such as DOLE, DENR, BFP and other government units;
Familiarity with government agencies mandated annual reports and forms.
