Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide support across various projects and business operations by managing data entry, documentation control, compliance registers, and general administrative duties. This role is integral in maintaining the accuracy of project and business records, ensuring compliance, and supporting site and office teams.

This position is a shared resource across the Project Management team. All data entry requirements will be emailed to a dedicated client email account.

As a minimum, the email must include:

  • Project name
  • Desired filing location
  • A brief description of the work required (e.g., "Please transfer test data to typed test sheet, save in Project X under QA, Level 7 Testing.")

Over time, through training, the expectation is that much of the information will simply be scanned to the email account. The Data Entry Specialist will develop the knowledge and skill set to determine what needs to be completed and where the information is to be filed.

In cases where instructions are unclear, the Construction Administrator will act as the point of contact to provide clarification, guidance, and training.

Required Skills and Qualifications

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry are essential for this role. Strong organisational and time management skills are also necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (O365 and SharePoint) is a requirement, as well as experience with managing document control systems software (Jobpac and HammerTech). The ability to follow processes and maintain compliance records is crucial. Good communication skills to liaise with site and office staff are also required.

Experience working flexibly across multiple projects and teams is an advantage.
