We are launching a call for consultancy to support resource development and review, analysis and capacity building activities that will pave the way for inclusive education in Slovakia's Ministry of Education.

The Inclusive Education Expert-Consultant will play a pivotal role in developing resources (toolkit, methodology, action plans) and assisting review, analysis and capacity building activities that will shape the future of education.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of Roma children and contribute to a more equitable society.

Modality: Home-based, part-time for 45 working days within a period from July 2025 to December 2026.

Work Assignment Overview
  • Undertake an EU/international review of good practices in addressing education segregation and promoting inclusive education.
  • Develop a toolkit for capacity building of regional and national stakeholders and deliver workshops that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical expertise to project activities based on findings and revise the research plan for monitoring Roma education segregation.
  • Support presentation of project deliverables for events, including preparation of presentations and participation in events that showcase progress and achievements.
Qualifications
  • An advanced degree in international development, human rights, education or another relevant social science field that equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • At least ten years of professional work experience in education, inclusive education or inclusion of vulnerable groups in education that demonstrate your expertise and commitment.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in conducting or managing research projects that involve data collection, analysis and dissemination.
  • Good knowledge of the international/regional framework and trends in inclusive education, including Roma inclusion that enables you to navigate complex issues.
  • Good networking and collaboration skills that facilitate partnerships and coordination.
  • Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication and presentation skills that enable effective communication.
  • Ability to be flexible and deliver results under tight deadlines that require adaptability and resilience.
