About the Role

This position is responsible for reporting on the global development industry, covering key projects, initiatives, and trends. The successful candidate will have a strong background in journalism and a proven track record of delivering high-quality content.

As a correspondent, you will be responsible for researching and writing articles, conducting interviews with industry leaders, and staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field. You will also work closely with other members of the news team to develop story ideas and produce engaging content.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong network of contacts within the industry, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and write articles on global development industry trends and news
  • Conduct interviews with industry leaders and experts
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field
  • Collaborate with other members of the news team to develop story ideas and produce engaging content
Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience as a beat reporter
  • A proven track record of breaking stories and delivering original reporting
  • A strong passion for global development, with the curiosity to dig into how the industry works
  • A network of contacts — or the drive to build one quickly
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage directly with readers
  • Native level of English with excellent written English
  • A bachelor's degree
