Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Trend Research:
    Conduct market research to identify emerging fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and designs. Analyze consumer preferences and competitors to forecast upcoming styles.
  • Design Development:
    Sketch designs and create technical drawings (by hand or using computer-aided design software). Select fabrics, trims, and materials for prototypes. Develop mood boards, color palettes, and concept presentations.
  • Prototype Creation:
    Collaborate with pattern makers and sample developers to create prototypes. Oversee fittings and make adjustments to ensure the design aligns with the vision.
  • Production Oversight:
