Job Overview

Frozen Goods is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, has strong communication skills, and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner as they enter the store.
  • Assisting customers with product information, promotions, and services.
  • Offering advice on product selection based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Addressing customer concerns, complaints, or returns promptly and effectively.
  • Ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience and fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Product Organization and Stock Management

In addition to providing excellent customer service, you will also be responsible for maintaining a well-organized store and ensuring that shelves and displays are stocked and tidy. This will involve replenishing stock when necessary, receiving and unpacking deliveries, and organizing stock in the backroom or on the sales floor.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively. While prior experience in customer service or sales roles in a retail environment is preferred, it is not mandatory. What is important is that you have a positive attitude, are enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
