Job Title: Pricing and Market Research Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Pricing and Market Research Professional to join our team. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing initiatives that align with our business goals. Your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and market research will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to optimize pricing and improve revenue outcomes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of pricing theory and market dynamics to drive business results. You will also contribute to the development of pricing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform pricing strategies
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and algorithms to optimize revenue outcomes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing initiatives
  • Conduct market research and gather data to support pricing decisions
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies and tactics
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pricing data and analytics
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing or market research
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and market research
  • Experience working with large datasets and statistical software (e.g., Excel, SQL, R)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
