Senior Coffee Connoisseur

Paperback & Lattes is a cozy café dedicated to serving high-quality coffee and providing exceptional customer service.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Coffee Connoisseur to join our team. This role will be responsible for preparing and serving specialty beverages, operating coffee-making equipment, and ensuring excellent customer service.

• Prepare and Serve Beverages
  • Brew and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
  • Customize drinks according to customer preferences (e.g., adding syrups, milk alternatives).
• Customer Service
  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders.
  • Provide information about the menu and recommend drinks.
  • Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience and address any concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain Cleanliness
  • Clean coffee equipment, counters, and workstations regularly.
  • Ensure that the café is tidy and well-organized throughout the day.
  • Dispose of waste properly and ensure sanitation standards are followed.

• Estimated Salary: $18-$22 per hour
• Previous experience as a barista or in customer service
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
• Ability to operate coffee-making equipment
• Attention to detail and physical stamina
