Our company is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Maritime Communications Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing, configuring, and maintaining local communications networks at various project sites across the country. This is a nationwide project, requiring someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments in different locations.

This specialist will play a crucial role in integrating local communication components with surveillance systems, including radar, AIS, EO/IR, and COP platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ICT/OT, HF/VHF, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, stable, and efficient communications.

The specialist will also contribute to the planning and recommendation of equipment procurement, installation, and long-term sustainment. Additionally, they will provide training and technical guidance to personnel on local communication operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of direct experience in designing, installing, and maintaining Local Communication Networks (LCNs), ensuring operational readiness and system reliability.
  • Familiarity with maritime and coastal surveillance communications infrastructure, including knowledge of existing systems, networks, and technologies used for vessel monitoring, radar, AIS (Automatic Identification System), and related communication platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of HF/VHF/UHF radio systems, including their configuration, operation, and maintenance for maritime and coastal surveillance applications.
