Store Cashier Position

About this role:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any equivalent 4-year course.
• Prior experience in cashiering is highly valued, with an added advantage if the candidate has POS experience.
• An essential skill required is excellent customer service ability.
• The ideal candidate should possess attributes such as trustworthiness, attention to detail, and adaptability when working independently.
• A minimum of one year/s experience in a related industry is preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
• The candidate should have basic computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mathematical calculations for payment collection and making change accurately.
• Operate point-of-sale terminals, scanners, and credit card/debit card machines efficiently.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for sales data.
• Process payments and verify all prices and quantities are accurate before handing over receipts to customers.
• Efficiently handle exchanges and refunds.
• Maintain an accurate cash count at all times.
• Ensure the checkout area remains clean and organized.
