**Job Description for Senior Full Stack Developer at Purplebug Inc.**

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/bootcamp training).

Technical Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Basic understanding of Laravel and its core features (Eloquent ORM, Blade, Routing, Middleware), foundational knowledge of Vue.js and its core libraries (Vue Router, Vuex/Pinia), and proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Frameworks Tailwind JS.
  • Databases: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic CRUD operations, exposure to databases like MySQL (basic querying and schema design).
  • Version Control Systems: Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools like GitHub or GitLab.
  • Deployment Processes: Understanding of modern web development workflows, including npm or yarn package management.

Soft Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Eager to learn and grow as a developer, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team or take initiative independently.
  • Attention to Detail: Good communication skills, with a willingness to ask questions and seek guidance, detail-oriented and focused on producing quality code.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain complete web applications from back-end logic to front-end UI, analyze and optimize application performance (e.g., load times, query execution), refactor inefficient code and database queries.
  • Design RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange, implement secure API endpoints to connect back-end and front-end, test and document API endpoints for clarity and reuse.
  • Utilize caching and other techniques to improve scalability, build responsive user interfaces with Vue.js components, ensure compatibility across all major browsers and devices.
  • Maintain data integrity and perform migrations, debug and resolve errors in the application stack (front-end, back-end, or database), use tools like browser dev tools, logging, and monitoring platforms.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues, collaborate via platforms like GitHub or GitLab (branching, pull requests), resolve merge conflicts efficiently.
