Job Description
The role of the Full Stack Software Engineer is a crucial part of our team. We are looking for an individual with expertise in both backend and frontend development to join us on a permanent remote basis.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building high-quality solutions for users across more than 120 countries. You will work closely with our global software team to contribute your expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Your focus will be on ensuring all system development is within design and architecture guidelines while upholding best practices in modern software development. This includes testing, deployment, and release management of system updates. Additionally, you will be required to demonstrate best practices in secure software development and effectively work with senior software developers in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack software engineering using React / Python / Django / MySQL.
  • Design new system features and enhancements to improve product usability and productivity.
  • Ensure all system development is within design and architecture guidelines.
  • Testing, deployment and release management of system updates.
  • Schedule estimates for technical design and development.
  • Demonstrate best practices in secure software development.
  • Effectively work with senior software developers in a team environment.

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has minimum 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with hands-on expertise in both backend and frontend development. Proficiency in Java, Python, Django, React, and JavaScript is required. Experience with MySQL, Single Page Applications (SPAs), and preferably AWS services (e.g., Lambda, CloudFormation, RDS) is also necessary. Solid understanding of modern software development practices and engineering best practices is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building effective, user-centric solutions are must-haves. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, open-minded approach are required. A positive contributor to team culture and committed to working in a diverse and inclusive environment is a bonus. Bonus points for familiarity with consumer finance, B2C payments, or integrated e-commerce platforms.
