Job Overview

The role of a Paralegal Support Specialist is pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring effective communication within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to the legal team, including administrative assistance, coordination of tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Assist with implementing and improving operational processes and workflows
  • Conduct regular reviews of internal records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation for easy access and retrieval
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for staff members
  • Ensure that training programs are well-organized, communicated effectively, and that all necessary resources and materials are prepared
  • Manage and prepare fortnightly schedules and reports, including tracking progress on key initiatives and summarizing operational activities
  • Provide insights and updates to support decision-making and operational planning
  • Track and manage conflict resolution efforts, including recording issues, monitoring resolution progress, and ensuring that conflicts are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Assist in maintaining records of client interactions and outcomes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal or administrative support role
  • Experience in operations support, record management, or client service is a plus

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
