**Job Opportunity:**

Test Engineer Position

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, scripts, and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Create effective test strategies, plans, and scripts for both automated and manual testing.
  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
  • Contribute to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, & incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the squad team to drive product quality.
  • Ensure all assigned testing deliverables timelines are met within the sprint and product release.
  • Generate and communicate clear test reports for stakeholders such as the principal engineer, product owner, scrum master, & release management.
  • Liaise with business users, analysts, and engineers to resolve any assigned defects.
  • Maintain awareness of external environments and trends in testing, contributing to process improvement.
  • Promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Couch and train other team members on manual and automated testing.
  • Adapt new ways of working, finding opportunities for continuous improvement, and actively participate in squad events.

**Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of software testing experience (Manual and Automation).
  • Experience with automated testing tool Playwright.
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing including planning, test case design, test reporting, defect tracking, estimating, and test coverage.
  • Experience working with external parties and vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand a business and its processes and systems in depth.
  • Experience with Selenium as well as other tools (e.g. Java, Maven, Postman).
  • Demonstrated skills with REST and SOAP webservices, API testing.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines and parallel test execution.
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and windows applications.
  • Ability to work across multiple products / platforms / squads.
