About the Role

This is a full-time remote position that requires excellent language skills, strong listening and concentration abilities, and a keen understanding of cultural nuances. Your primary responsibility will be to interpret conversations accurately and effectively, ensuring seamless communication between Cantonese and English-speaking clients.

The ideal candidate will possess fluency in both languages, including strong verbal and written skills. You will also need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely interpretation during phone calls, video conferences, and other communication formats
  • Be attentive to cultural nuances and context to ensure clear and accurate communication
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues through effective communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English, including strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent listening and concentration skills
  • Ability to accurately interpret conversations in real-time
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and ability to handle culturally sensitive conversations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Experience in interpretation or translation services is a plus
