Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including data entry, invoice matching, and payment processing.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports as needed.
- Assist with audits and tax preparation.
- Handle general accounting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field (specify years of experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., debits, credits, journal entries).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including formulas and pivot tables).
- Experience with accounting software (specify which software, e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
