Job Description

Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting efficient, reliable, and maintainable airline software applications.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Sharing knowledge on relevant technologies and adhering to coding and implementation standards
  • Collaborating with the scrum team on team priorities
  • Participating in operational rotation and addressing production issues promptly
  • Keeping training materials up to date and supporting the development of new functional and technical experts on the team
  • Developing and enhancing your own capabilities and demonstrating flexibility to meet goals
  • Providing functional expertise on assigned Navitaire airline system or sub-system
  • Analyzing product backlog items, proposing solutions, coding, and automating testing of optimized solutions, and conducting peer reviews

About the ideal candidate:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of professional programming experience in C#, .NET, and SQL
  • At least 1 year recognized as a subject matter expert of enterprise-level systems or sub-systems, working on coding, design, and production support
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an agile setting
  • Airline industry knowledge is beneficial
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Open to work in a hybrid set-up
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in an engaging and diverse environment
  • Collaborative, proactive, and motivated individual
