As a freelance peer reviewer in Clinical Oncology, you will be responsible for assessing the quality and validity of manuscripts submitted to academic journals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine whether the manuscript is original and adds new knowledge or insights to the field.
  • Evaluate the study design and methodology to ensure that the research can be accurately reproduced in the future.
  • Critically assess the literature review to check if the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research in the field.
  • Analyze the results and conclusions to evaluate whether they are presented clearly and appropriately, and whether they are supported by the data and significant to the field.
  • Provide constructive feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
Requirements:
  • A Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in Clinical Oncology is required.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field are necessary.
  • You should have a thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within Clinical Oncology.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • You must be able to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • The ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively is crucial.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity is required.
