About the Role

We are seeking an experienced estimator to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately performing takeoffs and costing for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Costing
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls.
  • Data Analysis
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel to present findings and recommendations.
  • Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates, ensuring seamless project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam is essential for this role.
  • Software Proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Industry Knowledge
  • A background in architectural and electrical projects, as well as experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans, is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent spoken and written English skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard working hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from home and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
