Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to fulfill the role of a corporate taxation specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tax preparation, internal collaboration, and outsourced staff supervision.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and file accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax returns by utilizing specialized knowledge and technical skills.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal accounting staff to ensure accuracy of data and supporting documentation for tax filings, promoting effective teamwork and communication.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage outsourced staff, including assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables, ensuring high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Tax Research: Conduct ongoing tax research to stay current with federal and state tax regulations, applying expert knowledge to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, demonstrating academic excellence and a solid foundation in financial principles.
  • 3–4 years of bookkeeping experience with strong general ledger knowledge, showcasing proficiency in financial record-keeping and analysis.
  • 2–4 years of tax return preparation experience (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 990), highlighting expertise in complex tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS, utilizing advanced software tools to streamline tax preparation and analysis.
