Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our design team. As the Design Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a talented group of designers in creating innovative designs that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of experienced designers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Oversee the design process, guaranteeing technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and project constraints, and partner with operations to ensure practical and installable designs.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in design team leadership, preferably in electrical or related technical fields.
  • Strong technical background in electrical systems design and technology integration.
  • Proven ability to lead remote teams and maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and specialized electrical design software (Aurora, Helioscope, Revit, Visio).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of US electrical codes (NEC) and construction industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent electrical engineering credentials.
  • Experience managing teams in both low-voltage (AV) and high-voltage (solar) applications.
  • Familiarity with EOS Traction or similar business operating systems.
